Welcome to Rainmere House: an upscale bed and breakfast in the heart of the Cotswolds. This project was inspired by a 2014 trip to Chipping Campden, which turned out to be the most magical, storybook-like place I’ve ever been. I wanted to design a conceptual brand with elements that evoked the memory of that trip and captured the same softness and traditional character.

The color palette was derived from the worn stone buildings, lush English gardens, and pale rain-filled clouds. The monogram logo nods to the area’s architecture, from Jacobean church windows to the rustic fireplaces found in tearooms. The brand’s staple pinstripe pattern is reminiscent of hand-sewn linens passed through generations. Rainmere House is a sort of love letter to the English countryside, and a reminder to slow down and enjoy little moments.
