Bombay Company
Early in my freelance career, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Media Hounds Creative, a New York–based agency that partnered with some of the biggest names in retail. Through that connection, I was honored to assist in creating updated digital display ads and pitch deck adjustments for The Bombay Company — yes, the same beloved home décor and furniture brand once found in malls across America and now carried by retailers like TJ Maxx.
As someone who grew up with a mom who adored home décor and shopping in the height of mall-life in the early 2000s, this project felt both nostalgic and surreal. It was one of my first experiences working within the parameters of a globally recognized brand identity — a formative moment that helped me learn the balance between creative interpretation and brand consistency.
The ads themselves were clean and product-focused, emphasizing Bombay’s refined yet approachable visual language, and the same could be said for the pitch presentation. While simple in execution, they represented a major milestone in my journey as a designer: my first step into the world of large-scale, established brands. Looking back, I view these as foundational pieces — high-stakes enough to challenge me, yet accessible enough to allow me to execute them with confidence.
